How to Find Hope in the End Times

With all the signs pointing to an imminent apocalypse,  mankind needs hope for the future.  As we go through life the god of this world does everything he can to try to make us feel as if there is no hope.  For those who put their trust in man, this is indeed the case.  But for those who put their trust in the LORD, they know that their best days are still to come.

Signs of the End Times

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” With wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, and earthquakes and famines happening all over the world, the end times seem to be near.  Jesus said in the gospel of Mark “ But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,.” When we look around we see events such as these becoming more and more common. We are living in a time where the majority of people don’t revere God. They seek the temporary pleasures of the world rather than the eternal treasures of heaven. We must not become envious of the prosperity of the wicked and give in to the lusts of the flesh; ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you, put on the mind of Christ, and you will find peace. “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

The One World Political System

The book of Revelation declares that during the end times, there will arise a one world political and economic structure.  The whole world will be filled with wonder and follow after the beast (the one world system).  All the inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  Prior to this system being implemented, we will face many challenges. Knowing what God’s Word says and relying on the Holy Spirit to guide you, is essential.  The only way to find peace and maintain hope is to be in alignment with His Word. In the book of John, Jesus said “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The Economic Collapse

Global inflation which reached a multi-decade high of close to 9 percent in 2022.  If we continue on this current trend, a collapse of the current economic system is unavoidable. The World Economic Forum, has made mention of a “great reset” in order to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future. With all the uncertainties surrounding the future, we must invest in goods that have true value and not a fiat currency.  Investing in commodities such as farm animals, food with a long shelf-life and essential medicinal supplies, is a good place to start. Furthermore, the Bible mentions a currency that is still very much relevant today, gold and silver. Gold has long been known as the “protector of wealth.” God is the creator of gold and silver. “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.”   The value of precious metals have withstood the test of time. It is without a doubt the safest investment anyone can make. To go along with wise investments, learning bartering techniques will be essential in order to buy and/or sell as the end times approach. Above all else we must cultivate a mindset of stewardship, recognizing that our ultimate security lies in our relationship with God. When economic challenges arise, we can find comfort in knowing that our faith in Jesus Christ provides us with a firm foundation.  Ultimately, we can rest assured knowing that God will supply all of our needs.

The Hope of Salvation through Jesus Christ

Amidst the uncertainties and anxieties of the end times, there is a beacon of hope that shines brightly – the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us that those who have placed their faith in Him will be saved and will have eternal life. Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection, offers us forgiveness, redemption, and the promise of a future free from pain, suffering, and evil. He is our anchor in the storm, our source of strength and peace. As we navigate the complexities of the world, it is crucial to remember that our focus should not be solely on deciphering the signs of the end times, but on living out our faith in a way that reflects the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Conclusion

Looking at the current state of this fallen world, the end times seem to be fast approaching. The idea of a one-world system, and the inevitable collapse of the current economic system causes many uncertainties. However, one thing is sure, we can find comfort and hope in the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ.

As believers, let us approach these topics with discernment and let the Holy Spirit lead us. God loves His children and has good plans for us; “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Let us prioritize living out our faith, sharing the love of Christ with others, and finding peace in the assurance that our future is secure in Him.
